We report the case of a 16-day-old girl with respiratory distress and cyanosis. The diagnosis of Congenital Pulmonary Airway Malformation was suspected according to prenatal history, clinical findings in addition to pulmonary imaging and confirmed with pathology of the specimen after surgical resection. The post-surgical evolution was favorable; now the patient has no respiratory symptoms and has good weight gain. Congenital Pulmonary Airways Malformation is a low incidence entity that occurs most often during the neonatal and infancy period with respiratory distress. The diagnosis is done through the pathology and the treatment of choice is surgical resection.
