Tolerance and use eucerin atopicontrol in treatment atopic dermatitis in children treated in dermatology serviceinsn during the months of july - october 2021

Objective: Confirm the tolerance and safety of the use of Eucerin AtopiControl, in children with a diagnosis of Atopic Dermatitis: Eucerin AtopiControl Cream (acute phase), AtopiControl Balsam (maintenance phase)
Material and methods: Study open, prospective, descriptive, without a control group, was carried out in the private offices of Pediatric Dermatologists, during the months of July to October 2021. We included 41 patients with a diagnosis of Atopic Dermatitis: Moderate (60% ) and Severe (31 %).Were women 53.6% and women, 46.3% were men, and 56.3% of them were under 2 years of age. They were evaluated in 4 visits, every 15 days, and the patients received Eucerin Atopi Control Cream, twice a day, in the first visit, and AtopiControl Balsam in the 3 following visits, a very good response was evidenced, with improvement in the Scorad and the IGA. Itching control from the first week as well as an improvement in sleep.
Conclusion: It is evidenced that Eucerin AtopiControl both in cream and in body balm, provides clinical efficacy and safety, is well tolerated in pediatric patients and constitutes an effective alternative in the control of Atopic Dermatitis.
