Abstract

The congenital heart diseases have an elevated rate. Children with light congenital cardiopathys have a normal development and growth but critical congenital heart diseases have a serious homodynamic repercussion and the nutritional condition. The corrective surgery or palliative of defect is the most efficient way to improve the malnutrition situation in these children because eliminates the homodynamic factor that lead to the malnutrition. When an early surgical intervention is not possible a nutritional intervention is essential to prevent the consequences of mal nutrition during the period of grater development and growth of infants.
