Incidence and risk factors of bullying in a private school. Lima, Perú, 2007

We studied 185 students between 4th grade of elementary land 5th grade of high school level belonging to the CEP Jorge Polar of the Pueblo Libre district school. The 54% of them reported to have has aggressions, the more frequent has been put nicknames. We did statistical univariety and bivariety analysis. The only risk factor related to bullying was the lack of communication of aggression cases. The security that the school gives to the students appears as a protector factor. We emphasize the parents and teachers work in the construction and strong less of values to promote a peace culture.
