Abstract

Reportamos los hallazgos encontrados por ecocardiografía transesofágica (ETE) y por angiotomografía axial computadorizada (angio-TAC) en un paciente con obstrucción tardía del túnel intraauricular pulmonar después de operación de Mustard. La demostración de estos hallazgos resulta de importancia, ya que otros métodos diagnósticos son de poca confianza o muy engorrosos de realizar. El resultado de nuestro trabajo demuestra que la angiotomografía axial computadorizada y la ETE son muy útiles en precisar el sitio de la obstrucción y que la ETE, además, brinda información sobre la dirección y la velocidad del flujo a través de la estenosis.
