Objective: The Peruvian Journal of Pediatrics' primary objective is to contribute to advancing and improving pediatric medical care, especially in low- and middle-income countries. As an official publication of the Peruvian Society of Pediatrics, the Journal seeks to be a reference for disseminating research and knowledge in children's health, emphasizing the prevention and care of diseases, and promoting collaboration between professionals and entities dedicated to pediatrics in the region.
Scopes: The scopes of the Journal include:
Publication of Relevant Research: The journal is dedicated to publishing high-quality scientific works from members of the Peruvian Society of Pediatrics and non-associated professionals nationally and internationally. These works should improve the quality of children's medical care.
Peer Review: Articles sent to the journal are subjected to a rigorous peer review process, guaranteeing the quality and relevance of the published content.
Collaboration and Exchange of Information: The Journal seeks to promote the cooperation and exchange of information with similar entities at the national and regional levels. This is done to enable the advancement and application of research to benefit children in South America.
