Abstract

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a complex neurobiological disorder whose symptoms hyperactivity, impulsivity and attention deficit appear in childhood, causing serious problems in the cognitive, social, emotional and academic areas. Both, early diagnosis and timely treatment, ensures a long-term prognosis more favorable to children and adolescents with this disorder.
