We performed the diagnosis when the boy was 5 days old by clinical history and symptoms: irritability, weight loss, tachycardia, heart failure, tremors and diaphoresis. The results confirmed the diagnosis: TSH<0.004MCU/ml,FT4>6ng/dl,FT317.4pg /ml,AcTG:88.8U/ml,AcTPO:51.4U/ml.We started immediate treatment with lugol, propranolol and methimazole, presenting clinical improvement at 24 hours.
