Ebstein’s anomaly of the tricuspid valve. A case report

Background: The Ebstein anomaly is less than 1% of all congenital heart defects. It consists in the displacement of an anomalous tricuspid valve into the right ventricle. Report: Male patient, 8 years old from Trujillo, with a diagnosis of Ebstein disease at 1 month of age, admitted for emergency with cyanosis and chest pain presenting. Discussion: The Ebstein anomaly is less than 1% of all congenital heart defects. It consists in the down displacement of an anomalous tricuspid valve into the right ventricle.
